This year was a doozy to say the least and we coul This year was a doozy to say the least and we couldn’t be happier to step forward into the New Year.

Thank you for all of the support and committed high performance tiny builders this past year.

We continued to grow because of you. 🌱

Stay safe, healthy, and tuned in for new things to come in 2021! ✨

Love it when I come across other female builders l Love it when I come across other female builders like Mariah Hoffman @micro.modula

Building a tiny house from the trailer up as a young DIY female builder is no small feat!

The grit, agency, and tenacity is inspiring.

So, check her out!

This recently posted photo on @tinyhousegiantjourn This recently posted photo on @tinyhousegiantjourney’s feed of @pacific.pioneer’s skoolie really makes me want to get out there in nature and travel!

During this Pandemic I’ve generally felt stuck mostly because I’m physically stuck.

I’ve been privileged to be able to work from home in my tiny house, but also not having access to the usual parts of life that are social and make me happy has been difficult.

I’m working on allowing myself to feel grief about not being able to see live music, go dancing, swimming in a pool, having dinner parties with my friends, working with my coworkers in a shared space, traveling abroad etc.

Instead I’m shifting my plans for this next year to include new hobbies, new spaces outside to spend time with friends, a mini and simple van conversion for quick glamping trips (pics to come), and working hard to be okay with what is.

This is what is happening, we will still find ways to be joyful, to grow, to explore inside ourselves and out.

What are you all taking up that’s new and exciting?

✌🏼

We are almost at that time again to turn inward, b We are almost at that time again to turn inward, build a fire, and nurture ourselves with homemade soups and indoor activities.

This year particularly will feel dimmer for all of us, and I don’t believe the PNW winter will help in this regard.

I’m beginning to think of what I can put in place to bring light into my tiny home and my life this Winter.

Buying a “big” home with my best childhood friend and living on land I now own has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders.

This Winter will completely be about rooting down with my landmates, keeping our germ circle tight and bright, and doing things that make us feel good as much as possible.

I’ll be intentionally moving my body, VOTING, crafting, cooking healthy meals, and spending time with people I love.

What will you be doing during this darker time to stay whole?
